Electrical Engineering (B. Sc.)

Course content

  • Basic knowledge (mathematics, physics, electronics, electrical engineering, programming languages, computer networks, measurement technology, signals, systems, etc.), as well as individual specialisation in automation technology (control technology, electrical drive technology, real-time data processing, etc.) and industrial IT (communication technology, data security, high-frequency technology, etc.)
  • Additional subject areas: drive systems (electrical machines, power electronics, etc.), software technology (software design, sensor technology / encoding, image processing, etc.) and information systems (hardware design, mobile systems, radio systems, etc.) – the programme will be more tailored towards either hardware or software depending on your interests
  • 6th semester: bachelor’s dissertation and examination

Degree schedule

This degree is usually completed in six semesters. You’ll study for four days a week at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lemgo, and you’ll complete the practical part of your course at our company on the fifth day and during the semester break.
