KEB COMBICONTROL C5 superseded by KEB COMBICONTROL C6 with CoDeSys 3
KEB COMBICONTROL C6: The new control generation of KEB. KEB COMBICONTROL C6: The advancement of the product line drive-orientated motion control of KEB uses in future CoDeSys version 3 as universal tool for the programming of the automation systems in the languages IEC 61131-3. The enterprise from Barntrup puts COMBICONTROL C6 as Embedded and also as IPC-solution into the market.
Compact, universal and economically usable: The complete family allows optimally scaled solutions – and it starts with the expansion stage C6 compact. Compared to the classic PLC the embedded control – only slightly larger than a box of chocolates – makes a cost-optimized motion control possible for small to medium size machines. Due to the integrated EtherCAT interface the units can take over the role of the master in the fast cross communication with frequency inverter or servo inverter – for example multi-axle applications. The advantage: Setup of slim designed, self-sufficiently working subsystems.
The higher scaled variant C6-Econ offers the access into the industrial PC hardware. With it the PLC tasks and motion control functions can be handled equally. KEB offers C6-Econ – according to the varying requirements and requests concerning manner of installation –as compact BOX-IPC or integrated PANEL-IPC with Touch-Monitor from 8 to 17 inches.
KEB also offers both designs for the high performance industrial PC platform with single chip or Core™ 2 duo chip set for integrated motion control / CNC and visualisation in one hardware. Whether BOX-IPC or PANEL-IPB with Touch-Monitor sizes from 12 to 17 inches: The powerful series C6-Perform forms the basis for automation solutions from High-End-Motion to CNC functionality. The offer is rounded off by small visualisation PCs with Touch-Monitors up to 12 inches in combination with a powerful software package for the creation of conclusive visualisations and operator interfaces – C6-Visu.
